Not Alone Anymore
At the start, he looked completely alone.
Even with others around him, even with movement and sound and life happening everywhere… he felt separate.
You could see it in the way he sat.
In the way he held himself.
In the way he watched instead of joined.
But by the end, something had changed.
He wasn’t suddenly different.
He wasn’t suddenly bold or playful or fearless.
But he wasn’t alone anymore.
There were others sitting near him.
Close enough to touch.
Close enough to feel.
No one made a big move.
No dramatic gestures.
Just presence.
Just quiet acceptance.
And that’s what made it matter.
Because for some, the biggest step isn’t becoming confident.
It’s simply no longer being by yourself.
