Beethoven 9: The Legacy of Slobber (2026)

Starring: Bonnie Hunt, Nicholle Tom, Christopher Castile, Sarah Rose Karr

The slobber is back, and it’s bigger than ever. In Beethoven 9: The Legacy of Slobber, the iconic St. Bernard is returning to the Newton household, but this time, it’s not just the 90s chaos — it’s the high-tech challenges of 2026 that are about to collide with Beethoven’s massive paws, endless drool, and heart of gold.

Alice Newton (Bonnie Hunt) is now the matriarch of a sprawling, busy family. The house has grown quiet, the kids are off living their own lives, and she’s left with a sense of nostalgia for the good old days. That is, until a familiar, massive St. Bernard puppy crashes through the back door, ready to turn the world upside down again. The slobber is back in full force, and so is the chaos.

Ryce (Nicholle Tom), Ted (Christopher Castile), and Emily (Sarah Rose Karr) return as adults, each with their own frantic lives and a new set of responsibilities. But when they come home to the family house, they quickly realize that some things — like Beethoven — never change. However, the nostalgia of their childhood is short-lived when they discover that a ruthless tech-giant villain plans to turn their beloved neighborhood into a “Pet-Free Smart Zone” using robotic drones.

It’s up to the new Beethoven, a 200-pound ball of fur, drool, and pure heart, to show the world that you can’t replace a wagging tail with a Wi-Fi signal. With his trademark slapstick humor, Beethoven destroys furniture, ruins galas, and creates chaos wherever he goes, but always with a lovable, huggable heart.

Beethoven 9 is a tribute to family and the messiness that makes life so beautiful. Get ready for more outrageous antics, heartwarming moments, and plenty of mud-covered action. Whether it’s running through walls or saving the day with nothing but a good-hearted bark, Beethoven proves that the slobber will never die.

The biggest, wettest hero in cinema history is back — and he’s ready to save the day, one paw at a time.
