In a video posted today from the Oval Office, Trump celebrated Easter with a faith-filled message: “This Easter, I am proud to join Christians across the United States and around the world to celebrate the greatest miracle in human history: the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.”

Trump spoke of Christ’s life, death and resurrection: “In His life, Christ taught us true humility. In His death, He showed us the greatest love that ever existed. And in His resurrection from the dead, He proved that not even death can silence those who put their trust in Almighty God.”

He quoted the Gospel of John: “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” He added: “Everlasting life! What powerful and hopeful words!”
