Did You Know? – Leonardo DiCaprio (The Legend) NT

Leonardo was named after Leonardo da Vinci. His mother first felt him kick while she was looking at a Da Vinci painting in a museum in Italy.

He almost turned down the role of Jack Dawson in Titanic. He initially thought the character was “boring” until James Cameron convinced him otherwise. For his role in The Revenant, Leo actually ate raw bison liver and slept in animal carcasses. This performance finally earned him his first Oscar.

His bloody hand in Django Unchained was real. He accidentally smashed a glass during a take but kept acting through the pain, creating one of his most iconic scenes. Leo hasn’t accepted a movie role in years without his father’s approval. His dad reads all his scripts first to help him choose the best projects.
