A Mother’s Quiet Prayer

Today, I welcomed my beautiful son, James, into this world.

I held him for the very first time — so small, so quiet, so perfectly made. His tiny fingers wrapped around mine, and in that moment, everything else faded away. It’s just the two of us now. No grandparents waiting outside. No big family rushing in with balloons and gifts. No one else to lean on.

But my heart is full.

Because I know God chose me to be his mother. He placed this precious boy in my arms for a reason. The road ahead may feel lonely at times, and the future is still unwritten… but I trust. I trust that the same God who gave me James will walk beside us every single step. That every tear, every smile, every quiet night will be held in His hands.

James, my sweet boy, your story has already begun with love.

If you’re reading this, please leave a little heart for my son Just one small heart. A quiet prayer. A gentle sign that someone out there is wishing him well.

Because even when the world feels big and we feel small, we are never truly alone.

Thank you for seeing us. — James’ Mom
