Doctors knew baby Ali would probably be “big”…

But nobody — not even his parents — was prepared for THIS.

When Jennifer and Eric Medlock arrived at a Texas hospital for delivery, they expected their son to weigh maybe 10 pounds at most. After all, their first child had already been considered unusually large at birth.

Then came the shocking moment in the operating room.

Baby Ali entered the world weighing an unbelievable 14 pounds, 13 ounces — nearly twice the size of an average newborn.

Nurses were stunned.
Doctors could hardly believe the scale.
And the hospital quickly confirmed the incredible news:

Ali had officially become the largest baby ever born at Texas Health Arlington Memorial Hospital.

Even more astonishing, the physician who delivered him said Ali was the biggest baby he had seen in more than 30 years of medical practice.

“He’s my special baby,” Jennifer later said emotionally.

Because of his extraordinary size, Ali was immediately transferred to the NICU for close monitoring. Doctors explained that babies born this large can face complications including low blood sugar, breathing difficulties, and low platelet counts.
