đ âIâLL ALWAYS BE PROUD OF YOUâ â Kyle Buschâs Heartbreaking Final Message to His Son Leaves Fans in Tears

Just three days before his sudden death, Kyle Busch shared what would become his final Instagram post â a birthday tribute to his son, Brexton. It was not a racing highlight, not a victory speech, and not a fierce moment from the track. It was a father celebrating his little boy, smiling with his family, proud of the child he loved so deeply.
Kyle Busch Celebrated His Sonâs Birthday In His Last Post â 3 Days Before His Death
Kyle Busch shared his last post on social media on May 18th, 2026, three days before his deathâŠand it was for his sonâs birthday.
Two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Busch died on Thursday, May 21. He was 41 years old.

Earlier on May 21st, Kyleâs family released a statement announcing that he would not be able to compete in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 24th. They said Kyle was dealing with âa severe illness resulting in hospitalizationâ, and closed their statement with a request for privacy.
Sadly, later on May 21st, NASCAR confirmed that Kyle páŽssed away:
âWe are saddened and heartbroken to share the news of the páŽssing of Kyle Busch, a two-time Cup champion and one of our sportâs greatest and fiercest drivers,â they wrote. âHe was 41 years old. We extend our deepest condolences to the Busch family, Richard Childress Racing and the entire motorsports community.â
Shortly after, NASCAR released a joint statement on behalf of themselves, Richard Childress Racing (Kyleâs team), and the Busch family. It read in part:
âKyle was a rare talent, one who comes along once in a generation. He was fierce, he was páŽssionate, he was immensely skilled and he cared deeply about the sport and fans.â
The statement ended with the following message:

âDuring this incredibly difficult time, we ask everyone to respect the familyâs privacy and continue to keep them in your thoughts and prayers. Further updates will be shared as appropriate.â
