Australian man Simon Carman has been arrested in Thailand as investigations continue into the discovery of the body of a teenage girl inside a suitcase. Police allege he picked up the 17-year-old from the Beach Road vice strip in Pattaya, as police retraced her last moments to the hotel room that she had entered with Mr Carman.

A 46-year-old Australian man has been arrested over the murder of a 17-year-old Thai girl, whose naked body was found inside a suitcase alongside a railway line in Thailand. CCTV footage shared online by Thai media shows the pair holding hands while walking past a security guard and into an elevator around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday.
