Suspected Murderer Dies of Heart Attack While Dumping Body of Woman He Strangled: Alabama Authorities

CHAMBERS COUNTY, Alabama — A suspected murderer reportedly suffered a fatal heart attack while attempting to dispose of the body of a woman he had strangled, according to authorities.
The bodies of Daniel Robbins and his apparent victim, Jessica Folds, a mother of three, were discovered on June 10 in a remote wooded area in Chambers County, Alabama — roughly 125 miles from Robbins’ home in Macon, Georgia.
Investigators believe Robbins strangled Folds and was in the process of dumping her body when he collapsed from a heart attack. The autopsy supported this sequence of events.

This bizarre and tragic discovery has left authorities piecing together the circumstances surrounding the deaths. Jessica Folds’ family is mourning the loss of a beloved mother, while Robbins’ death has closed the possibility of a traditional trial.
The case has shocked both the Alabama and Georgia communities.
Our deepest condolences go out to the family and loved ones of Jessica Folds during this difficult time. The investigation continues.
