Ravi’s Fight for Life

When baby Ravi was born weighing more than 4 kilograms, his family dreamed of a future filled with ordinary moments — first smiles, first steps, and the simple joys of watching him grow.

But just days after his birth, their world changed. Doctors discovered that Ravi had a rare and serious heart condition. His family was given news no parent ever wants to hear, with doctors warning that his condition was extremely difficult to survive.

Yet Ravi’s story was far from over.

From the beginning, this tiny fighter showed incredible strength. In his first seven months of life, he faced challenges that would test even the strongest adults. He endured cardiac arrests, difficult medical procedures, severe complications, and multiple major surgeries.

At one critical point, Ravi needed ECMO — an advanced life-support machine that temporarily helped take over the work of his heart and lungs when his body could no longer do it alone.

Through every setback, a team of doctors, nurses, and specialists continued fighting alongside him. His family stood by his side through long hospital stays, uncertainty, and moments when hope was all they had.
