CRITICAL UPDATE: Police Share New Information in the Search for Parker Wells

As the search for 11-year-old Parker Wells enters its third week, the Calgary Police Service has released an important update on the investigation.

Authorities say there is currently no evidence to suggest Parker was abducted. The investigation remains active and continues to be treated as a high-priority missing person case, with every lead being carefully examined.

The response from both law enforcement and the community has been extraordinary. Investigators have reviewed more than 500 public tips along with hundreds of hours of surveillance and dashcam footage in an effort to trace Parker’s movements.

Search teams, including ground crews, drone operators, K9 units, and volunteers, have concentrated extensive efforts in and around Nose Hill Park and nearby northern Calgary communities. Despite these tireless efforts, Parker has still not been found.

Parker is autistic and non-verbal. If you happen to see him, do not approach or chase him, as that could frighten him. Instead, keep him in sight from a safe distance and call 911 immediately so trained responders can assist.

This search is far from over. Every shared post, every tip, and every pair of watchful eyes could make the difference that brings Parker home safely.
