Emotional Hospital Footage Shown During Preston Davey Trial

Jurors at Preston Crown Court have been shown emotional hospital footage involving Jamie Varley during the trial concerning the death of 13-month-old Preston Davey.

The footage showed Varley at the hospital after doctors determined that Preston was unlikely to survive. Prosecutors presented the recording as part of the evidence being considered by the jury.

Varley, who faces charges including murder and alleged sexual offences against the child, has pleaded not guilty. His co-defendant, John McGowan-Fazakerley, has also denied the charges.
