9-Month-Old Luxton Is Fighting for His Life, One Day at a Time
Seattle, Washington.
Nine-month-old Luxton Payne is facing an incredibly difficult battle after being diagnosed with Stage 4 high-risk neuroblastoma last December.
His mother, Keely, describes their journey like a glow stick—something has to break before it can shine.
The cancer began in his adrenal glands and has spread to his liver. Since his diagnosis, Luxton has already endured multiple tumors and six rounds of chemotherapy.
Yesterday, he underwent the first of two planned bone marrow transplants at Seattle Children’s Hospital following intensive chemotherapy to prepare his body for the procedure.
His family says the treatment has been extremely difficult, including painful skin injuries that require careful daily care.

Now Luxton’s immune system is severely weakened, and his medical team is closely monitoring him as he enters another critical stage of recovery.
There is still a long road ahead, including another transplant, radiation, immunotherapy, and additional treatment as part of his planned 15-month treatment journey.
Through it all, his parents, Kyle and Keely, continue to hold onto their faith and trust the medical team caring for their little boy.
Please pray for Luxton today.
Pray that his body responds well to the transplant.
Pray for strength through the next stage of treatment.
Pray for comfort and healing.
And pray for Kyle, Keely, and Luxton’s sister, Payton, as they walk through this incredibly difficult journey togethe
