Wu Jing trained at the Beijing Wushu Team, the same elite academy that produced legends like Jet Li and Donnie Yen. His brutal alleyway knife fight against Donnie Yen in Kill Zone (SPL) was completely unchoreographed, relying purely on their real-life martial arts reflexes.

He broke global box office records with Wolf Warrior 2, which he directed and starred in, making it the first non-Hollywood film to enter the top 100 highest-grossing movies worldwide. He does most of his own dangerous stunts, sustaining injuries to both knees, multiple broken bones, and even temporary blindness during his career.
