PLEASE PRAY FOR THIS LITTLE GIRL
Sabrena Beard is asking people to hear her 8-year-old daughter’s story and keep their family in prayer.
It began with headaches that wouldn’t go away. After several visits and continued concerns, doctors eventually discovered a brain tumor. Her daughter underwent surgery just before her 8th birthday and later began treatment at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
There was a moment of hope when she rang the treatment bell on April 1st, and the family was able to return home after months away.
But in July, Sabrena says her daughter’s condition changed quickly, and further evaluation showed that the illness had progressed. She is now receiving hospice care, with her mother staying by her side and caring for her every day.
Sabrena also hopes other parents will listen to their instincts. Most headaches in children are not something serious, but if symptoms continue, change, or don’t improve as expected, she encourages parents to keep asking questions and seeking answers.
Please pray for this precious little girl and her mother. Pray for comfort, strength, peace, and relief from her suffering. Pray for Sabrena as she stays beside her daughter through this incredibly difficult time.
