Vin Diesel is an American actor, producer, and filmmaker best known for playing Dominic Toretto in the Fast & Furious franchise.

Born Mark Sinclair on July 18, 1967, he began his career with independent films before gaining wider recognition in Saving Private Ryan and The Fast and the Furious. Diesel has also portrayed Groot in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, providing the character’s voice in films including Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Infinity War. Outside Marvel and Fast & Furious, his credits include xXx, Pitch Black, and The Pacifier. He has also produced several films through his production company, One Race Films.
