JUSTICE UPDATE: Both Accused in Buncombe County Family Murders Denied Bond
A heartbreaking tragedy in Fairview, North Carolina, has left an entire community in shock and mourning.
The 28-year-old man and 16-year-old girl accused of killing a family of three — a husband, wife, and grandmother — have both been denied bond and will remain behind bars as they face justice for this unimaginable crime.
Travis Eugene Grant (41), Kimberly Michelle Grant (42), and Sharon Harwood Grant (66) were found shot to death in their home on May 7. The victims were beloved parents and a grandmother whose lives were taken far too soon. Their 16-year-old daughter, Star Grant, and 28-year-old Devan Oneal Loving now face three counts of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
No family should ever have to endure this kind of pain. The thought of parents trying to protect their daughter, only to lose everything, is devastating beyond words.

Our hearts break for the extended family and friends left behind. May God wrap them in comfort during this unimaginable grief.
This case is a painful reminder of how quickly life can change and how important it is to hold our loved ones close.
Please keep the victims’ family in your prayers as the legal process continues. Justice must be served for Travis, Kimberly, and Sharon.
Rest in peace to the Grant family. You will not be forgotten.
