A major breakthrough has been made in the violent Waialee Beach attack on Oahu’s North Shore.
On May 30, a 15-year-old boy was assaulted at “Dead Man’s Curve,” and 23-year-old lifeguard **Kekoa Tamale** stepped in to protect him — and was brutally attacked as well. Both suffered serious injuries, including broken bones and concussions
**Police Update:**
5 juveniles charged with Attempted Assault (1st Degree)
2 teens also face Kidnapping + Attempted Assault (2nd Degree) charges
A 19-year-old suspect has now turned himself in
Total: **7 individuals in the system** and rising
Thanks to public tips, photos, and videos investigators continue to identify more suspects as the case expands.
The victims are now recovering at home under medical care
Authorities confirm the investigation is still active, with more arrests expected soon.
