DECATUR, Georgia â Authorities have identified and arrested 26-year-old Devin Anthony as the primary suspect in the tragic shooting that killed 23-year-old Shakiya Pridgen and her unborn son, Kyren, in DeKalb County.
The incident occurred early Tuesday morning, June 16, 2026, at an apartment complex on Peppertree Circle in unincorporated Decatur. According to investigators, multiple shots were fired into a bedroom window where Pridgen was sleeping with her two young children.
