Funeral Arrangements Set for 1-Year-Old Kohen Kartier Wiley Killed in Senatobia Police Shooting

SENATOBIA, Mississippi — Funeral services have been scheduled for 1-year-old Kohen Kartier Wiley, who was tragically killed during a police encounter in a Walmart parking lot. The young boy’s death has deeply saddened the community and prompted calls for transparency from authorities.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 26, from 4–7 p.m. at Senatobia Church of Christ on West Gilmore Street. Funeral services are set for Saturday, June 27, at 2 p.m. at Hosanna Family Worship Center in Pope, Mississippi.

Prominent civil rights attorney Ben Crump, representing Kohen’s family, has demanded full accountability and transparency in the investigation. Crump announced plans for an independent autopsy and is calling for the immediate release of body-camera footage and Walmart surveillance video to clarify the circumstances surrounding the child’s death.
