The Danish government is reportedly considering a nationwide ban on the public broadcast of the Islamic call to prayer (Adhan), with officials arguing the move is aimed at addressing concerns over what they describe as the “Islamization” of public spaces. According Danish Ministry for Immigration and Integration , the move is to determine if the public broadcast of the Adhan over loudspeakers can be legally prohibited across the country.

This is making it the third time Danish immigration authorities have attempted to find a legal route to restrict or ban the practice, following previous reviews.
