Three New Jersey Teens Located Safe in Stamford, Connecticut After Vanishing from Denville Train Station

Montville Township, NJ — All three teenagers who went missing after being last seen at a New Jersey train station on Friday have been safely located in Stamford, Connecticut, authorities confirmed on Saturday evening.
The boys — identified as Brayden Morrissey, 14, Dominic Diliberto, 14, and William Connolly, 17 — left an undisclosed location in Montville Township on Thursday night. They were captured on surveillance at the Denville Train Station around 5:30 p.m. Friday, prompting an intensive missing persons investigation by local police.
Montville Township Police deployed K-9 units and drones in the initial search efforts around the station area. When it became clear the teens had left the region, the case transitioned into a broader missing persons probe with assistance from other agencies.
On Saturday afternoon, officers with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) spotted the trio at a train station in Stamford, Connecticut. MTA police took 17-year-old William Connolly into protective custody, but the two 14-year-olds initially fled the scene.

According to Montville Township Police Chief Andrew Caggiano, Brayden Morrissey and Dominic Diliberto were both located in the Stamford area just after 8 p.m. Saturday. All three teens are now safe, and authorities noted they appear to have left on their own accord.
No charges have been reported at this time, and the investigation into the circumstances of their departure remains ongoing.
The case drew significant public attention, with local residents and a teacher sharing photos and alerts on social media to aid in the search.
Police have thanked the public and partnering agencies for their assistance in bringing the teens home safely.
