BREAKING: Mass deportation flights of Haitians WILL begin for those who had Temporary Protected Status revoked and do not qualify for permanent status, or do not self-deport!
The Homeland Security Secretary said in an interview on CNN that those Haitians who lost TPS should seek permanent status or self-deport. He said those who self-deport will get over $2000 and a free flight home.
According to the report, the DHS Secretary said, “deportation flights “can get into areas where maybe commercial travel can’t go,” and maybe Haitians and Syrians can help restore their countries: ‘It takes the people of Haiti to win their country back.'”
News Nation reports that last Thursday, “The Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that the administration can cut off temporary legal protections for thousands of Haitians and Syrians.” The number of those affected is about 350,000, mostly Haitians.
