According to reports, Dearborn Public Schools served pepperoni pizza to students at O.L. Smith Middle School over an eight-day period between February 23 and March 5.
The district says 206 slices were mistakenly served with pepperoni containing both beef and pork — and the product was not halal certified.
That means some Muslim students may have unknowingly eaten pork during one of the holiest times of the year.
Parents are furious, saying this never should have happened in a district that knows full well the religious makeup of its community.
This is exactly why Americans are losing trust in public schools and bureaucracies that constantly claim to care about “diversity” and “inclusion” — yet somehow keep failing families when it actually matters.
Now parents want accountability, transparency, and answers.
