“Seniors Should Not Be Taxed Out of Their Homes”

Rep. Nancy Mace is proposing to eliminate property taxes for senior citizens.

She argues that elderly Americans have worked hard for decades to own their homes and should not be forced to leave due to rising property taxes. According to Mace, seniors have earned the right to live peacefully in the homes they spent their working lives paying for.

“We need to abolish property taxes for seniors. They earned the right to live in peace in the homes they worked for.”
