When 5-year-old Jocelyn Rojas was kidnapped after a stranger lured her into a car with the promise of ice cream, two brave teenagers refused to stand by and do nothing.

Fifteen-year-old Temar Boggs and his friend immediately jumped on their bicycles and began chasing the suspect’s vehicle. For nearly 15 minutes, the determined teens pursued the car through the streets until the kidnapper, realizing he was being followed, abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot.

As soon as little Jocelyn was free, she ran straight to Temar.

“I want my mom,” the frightened girl told him.

Thanks to the quick action and courage of these two teenagers, Jocelyn was safely returned to her family.
