15-Year-Old TikTok Streamer Pedro Alexander Díaz Franco Found Dead in Trash Bags After Alleged Kidnapping in Honduras

Choloma/La Lima, Honduras — Authorities in northern Honduras are investigating the horrific killing of 15-year-old Pedro Alexander Díaz Franco, a budding TikTok streamer whose body was discovered wrapped in black trash bags along a highway just one day after he was allegedly abducted from a soccer field.

According to local reports and witness accounts, the teenager was at a soccer pitch in the Campo Nevada area of Choloma, Cortés department, on the evening of July 5, 2026, when a group of hooded, armed men approached him around 7:20 p.m. The suspects, reportedly carrying large-caliber weapons, forced the boy away from the area.

Franco’s family immediately launched a desperate public search on social media, sharing appeals for information about his whereabouts and providing a description: a young male with fair skin, a slender build, and no tattoos. He was known locally for his live streams and content on TikTok.

The following morning, on July 6, passersby discovered a body in black plastic bags on the verge of the CA-13 highway in La Lima, Cortés—approximately a 30-minute drive from the abduction site. Forensic officials transported the remains to a morgue in San Pedro Sula, where family members identified Franco by a distinctive surgical scar.

Police have cordoned off the scene and continue to investigate the kidnapping and murder. The motive remains unclear, though the circumstances have shocked the community and raised concerns about violence in the region. No arrests have been publicly announced.

Franco had been building a following as a social media creator, frequently engaging with audiences through videos and live broadcasts.
