The young boy was playing on the beach when a large piece of driftwood collapsed, pinning him and causing severe injuries. He passed away on Sunday after days in critical condition at Seattle Children’s Hospital.

The incident occurred on the evening of July 8, 2026. First responders performed CPR for approximately 20 minutes at the scene. Killian suffered multiple skull fractures, a broken nose, and a collapsed lung. He was airlifted for treatment but ultimately succumbed to his injuries.
