Kansas City, Missouri — The search for 10-year-old Jackson S. Georgari ended in tragedy when his body was discovered in a pond near his Northland home, just hours after he reportedly walked out while sleepwalking. Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) confirmed the discovery around noon on Thursday, July 9, 2026.
Jackson was last seen around midnight Wednesday at his home in the 1100 block of Northwest Vivion Road. Family members told police he had a known history of sleepwalking and had left the home during the night. An extensive search involving police, firefighters, K-9 units, drones, and volunteers began immediately.
His body was found unresponsive in a pond near Briarcliff Village, approximately half a mile to a mile from his residence.
