Bring Parker Home

As the mother of a child with autism whose own son has wandered away before, I haven’t been able to stop thinking about Parker and his family.

Calgary was my home for many years, and I still live nearby. This story feels deeply personal. I can only imagine the fear, heartbreak, and uncertainty Parker’s family has endured since he disappeared.

Eleven-year-old Parker has been missing since July 16. Calgary Police continue to ask residents—especially those in Thorncliffe and surrounding communities—to carefully check and recheck every possible place on their property.

Please look inside garages, sheds, vehicles, RVs, trailers, storage areas, and vacant buildings. Check under decks, between fences and hedges, around yard debris, and anywhere a child may have sought shelter. Realtors, landlords, and property managers are also encouraged to ensure vacant properties are searched thoroughly.

Please don’t assume a place is too small, too unlikely, or that someone else has already checked. Sometimes, the place that seems impossible is the one that matters most.

If you see Parker, do not approach him. Give him space, keep him in sight, and call 911 immediately.

Anyone with information, or with security camera or dashcam footage that could help, is asked to contact the Calgary Police Service at 403-266-1234.
