That is the reality Brooklynn and her family are living right now.
Earlier this year, Brooklynn became critically ill. What followed has been a nightmare of severe complications, multiple surgeries, and a long, exhausting hospital stay that has tested every ounce of strength this young mother and her family possess. There was a moment — a dark, unforgettable moment — when doctors told her mother, Dawn, that they did not expect Brooklynn to survive the night.
But she is still here. She is still fighting.
Her family continues to cling to hope with everything they have, especially for the sake of her little boy, Adonis. Every day that precious child waits for his mommy to come home.
