A Texas family dreamed of bringing their twins home together.

A Texas family dreamed of bringing their twins home together.

Instead, they are mourning the heartbreaking loss of one baby while cherishing every moment with the other.

Felix and his twin sister, Juliette, were born at just 25 weeks, weighing only 1 pound, 14 ounces and 1 pound, 9 ounces. From the very beginning, both babies faced an uphill battle in the NICU, where every small milestone became a reason to keep hoping.

After 102 days, Juliette grew strong enough to finally go home.

Felix continued fighting for another 19 days, courageously battling severe brain bleeds, chronic lung disease, intestinal complications, and a rare skeletal disorder. Although doctors warned his family more than once that he might not survive, Felix continued to amaze everyone with his incredible strength.

To his parents, he was never defined by his medical conditions. He was their beautiful little boy with a sweet button nose, bright curious eyes, and soft curly hair they adored.

After 121 unforgettable days by his side, Felix passed away peacefully in the loving arms of his family, surrounded by those who loved him most.

Please keep Felix’s parents, his twin sister Juliette, and their entire family in your prayers as they navigate this unimaginable loss. May they find comfort, strength, and peace in the days ahead.

Our deepest condolences go out to everyone who loved this precious little boy
