Jaxson Homer is beginning a long road to recovery after surviving a small plane crash at **Blackfoot City Airport**.

According to his family, Jaxson remains in the intensive care unit after undergoing multiple surgeries. His next step will be a transfer to the **University of Utah**, where he is expected to receive specialized care, including reconstructive surgery and rehabilitation.

The crash also claimed the life of **27-year-old pilot Caden Max West**. Authorities have confirmed that federal investigators are continuing to examine the cause of the accident.

As Jaxson focuses on healing, his family is facing the emotional and financial challenges that often follow a serious injury. They have created a fundraiser to help with medical expenses, rehabilitation, travel for specialized care, and other recovery-related costs not fully covered by insurance.

This is an incredibly difficult time for everyone affected.
