💔 Controversy Erupts at White House UFC Event: Fighter’s Remark About Michelle Obama Sparks Backlash

A post-fight moment at the UFC Freedom 250 event on the White House lawn has ignited heated debate across the country.
During his interview with Joe Rogan after defeating Derrick Lewis, UFC heavyweight fighter Josh Hokit shouted, “Michelle Obama is a man, am I right, America?” — a comment that drew cheers from parts of the crowd.
Harris County Attorney Christian Menefee responded strongly on social media:
“They really let a UFC fighter call our only Black First Lady a man on the White House lawn at an official event… while thousands cheered and the biggest podcaster in the world smiled. There is no economic policy fix for this. Many of these people are just racist.”

UFC CEO Dana White later condemned the remarks as “nasty and false,” distancing himself and the organization from the comment.
The incident, which took place during a high-profile celebration on the South Lawn, has divided opinions — with some viewing it as disrespectful and others seeing it as edgy banter in the world of combat sports.
What started as a patriotic UFC event honoring America’s 250th anniversary has now become a flashpoint for broader cultural conversations.
