Former FBI Agent Claims Investigators Closing In on ‘Porch Guy’ in Nancy Guthrie Kidnapping Case

A former FBI Special Agent says investigators may be nearing an arrest of the masked and armed “porch guy” captured on Nancy Guthrie’s doorbell camera the night of her disappearance.
Maureen O’Connell, a retired FBI agent, told Megyn Kelly on her radio show:
“I think they’re getting close to the porch guy and when they get the porch guy, the floodgates shall swing open.”
The comments reportedly left Kelly stunned, as the case continues to captivate the public nearly five months after Nancy Guthrie, mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie, went missing.

The “porch guy” — seen wearing a ski mask and holding a weapon — has been a central figure of interest since surveillance footage was released.
Authorities have remained tight-lipped about specific suspects, but O’Connell’s remarks suggest significant progress in the high-profile investigation.
The Nancy Guthrie case remains one of the most closely watched missing persons investigations in recent memory.
