Belforest, Alabama — A 17-year-old has been charged with murder and attempted murder after allegedly stabbing his mother, Samantha Baker, 37, to death and critically injuring his father, Lance Baker, 46, during a family argument. The teen is being tried as an adult.

He allegedly chased them outside, repeatedly stabbing them while threatening, “I’m gonna kill you.” Samantha was found dead on a neighbor’s porch. Lance fought for his life and is now stable in the hospital.
