An Update of Hope and Support for Everyone Affected

Many people have been asking how the other child involved in the accident is doing. With permission from his family, we want to share that he is doing well and receiving the support and care he needs.

We have known this child and his family for years, and we have had the privilege of praying with them and supporting them during this difficult time. We want him to know that he is not at fault and that there is no blame placed on him. He is a wonderful kid who deserves compassion and kindness.

This tragedy has affected many people — including the children on the field that day, their families, coaches, umpires, and everyone who witnessed what happened.
