She Lost Three Limbs at Just 2 Years Old — Then She Chose Gymnastics
At just 6 years old, Presley June from Kentucky is showing the world that challenges don’t have to define what you can accomplish.
After a traumatic accident left Presley a triple amputee at only 2 years old, she discovered gymnastics after watching a performer at a children’s circus.
She immediately told her mom that she wanted to try it.
With the help of her coach, Presley adapted movements and developed her own way of participating in the sport.
Today, she competes at state and regional levels, often as the only athlete in her division.
One of her performances reportedly reached nearly 67 million views, but the number isn’t what makes her story so powerful.
