Michelle Rodriguez had zero formal acting experience when she beat out over 350 girls for her breakout lead role in Girlfight (2000). She actually did not have a driver’s license before landing her iconic role as Letty Ortiz in The Fast and the Furious (2001) and had to earn one during production.

She trained so intensively for the boxing debut that professional coaches tried to recruit her to pursue real-life competitive boxing instead of acting. she gained 15 pounds of pure muscle and spent 8 months maintaining her physique to perform her own heavy combat stunts in Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves.
