These Labrador puppies are destined for specialized roles in the Anti-Bomb, Anti-Drug, and Blood Detection teams. Both parents are active working police dogs, with their mother, Yellow, currently serving in the anti-drug and anti-bomb unit. This strong bloodline gives the puppies an excellent foundation for the demanding work ahead.

The pups will spend their early months in carefully selected foster homes, where they will be socialized and learn basic obedience. Formal professional training is scheduled to begin between 12 and 24 months of age, when they will develop the advanced detection and handler skills needed for police operations.

New Taipei City Police frequently uses Labradors for their exceptional sense of smell, calm temperament, and strong work ethic. These qualities make them ideal for high-stakes tasks such as detecting explosives, narcotics, and human blood at crime scenes.

The charming photoshoot has quickly gone viral on social media, reminding the public of the vital — and often heartwarming — role police dogs play in keeping communities safe. From tiny harnesses to future heroes, these puppies are already winning hearts while preparing to serve.

Taiwan’s K-9 program just got a whole lot cuter.
