AMBER Alert Issued for Two Missing Brothers in Utah as Father Named Suspect

Will Richman, 22 months, and Wesley Richman, 10 months, feared in imminent danger after custody exchange failure

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — An AMBER Alert has been issued for two young brothers who went missing after their father allegedly failed to appear for a scheduled custody exchange in Saratoga Springs, Utah.

The children, Will Richman (22 months) and Wesley Richman (10 months), were last expected to be seen on Saturday, May 23. Their father, Dane Stephen Richman, 46, has been identified as a person of interest and suspect in their disappearance.

According to the Utah Department of Public Safety, Dane Richman is described as “seriously depressed” and under significant financial stress. The alert warns that the children “face imminent danger of serious bodily harm or death.”

Authorities say Richman has been selling his possessions and has abandoned his home. He also failed to attend a custody deposition the day before the scheduled exchange.

Description of the Missing:

  • Dane Stephen Richman: 6 feet 2 inches tall, approximately 195 lbs, with brown hair and green eyes.
  • Will and Wesley Richman: Both stand over two feet tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes.

The three are believed to be traveling in a black Toyota Camry with Utah license plate A561HL. However, authorities note the vehicle may be displaying a temporary tag, and the license plate may not be visible.

Anyone with information about their whereabouts is urged to contact local law enforcement or the Utah Department of Public Safety immediately.
