HUNTSVILLE, Mo. — A Randolph County judge on Monday denied bond for two more suspects charged in the kidnapping and murder of 16-year-old Kayla Huff of Moberly.

Christopher Hull, 23, and Skyler Powell, 24, appeared in court and were both denied bond. Hull faces charges of first-degree kidnapping and tampering with evidence. Powell is charged with hindering the prosecution of a felony for allegedly helping hide another suspect.

Hunter Ames, 19, also appeared for a scheduling hearing. He, along with 20-year-old Alayna Mason, faces first-degree murder and first-degree kidnapping charges. Julian Mason, 26, is also charged in the case.

Kayla was reported missing on May 6, 2026. Her body was found a week later in the Rudolf Bennitt Conservation Area. Prosecutors allege she was beaten and shot.

The case has shocked the Moberly community, with ongoing hearings scheduled.
