A Bright Day for Little Maven

Maven looks so good today.
Her family shared the joyful update that she was awake and happy — a moment that brought real relief after what has clearly been a difficult medical journey. Doctors were able to decrease her ventilator settings, reduce the flow on her VAD (ventricular assist device), turn off one of her blood pressure medications, and begin giving her a little milk.
These are meaningful steps forward. Each adjustment signals that her body is growing stronger and needing a little less intensive support.
Her parents expressed deep gratitude for the prayers and support they have received. In the world of critical care for infants, days like this — when a baby is more alert, more stable, and starting to take in milk — are the ones families hold onto tightly.
Wishing continued progress and strength for Maven and her family.
