It’s a difficult Monday for 14-year-old Jayden Sherwin of Robertsdale, Alabama, as he and his family wait for the results of his latest scan.
Jayden was diagnosed just months ago with medulloblastoma. After doctors removed the tumor, he has continued through chemotherapy in Mobile and Atlanta. His family says treatment has brought many challenges, including changes to his speech, hearing, mobility, and sense of taste. He has also lost hearing on his left side and experienced significant hair loss. 
Despite everything, Jayden continues to show incredible determination. His family says he is still eating without a feeding tube and continuing his treatment on a three-weeks-on, three-weeks-off schedule.
Now they are waiting to learn whether another surgery may be necessary if the latest scan shows concerning changes.
