Sherry is a very close friend and someone who has become like a second mother to the family. Right now, she is in the hospital facing an incredibly difficult battle.
She began fighting lung cancer, which later spread to her brain. After doctors removed one tumor, another has now returned, and her family says the cancer has spread throughout her body.
Sherry is described as one of the bravest women they know — someone who would do anything for the people around her.
She is scheduled to undergo brain surgery tomorrow to remove a new tumor that has been affecting her speech and some of her movement. Her loved ones are asking for as many prayers as possible and are holding onto hope for a miracle.
She has grandchildren who love her deeply, and her family is standing beside her through every moment of this difficult journey.
