On Tuesday, court proceedings began for Karmelo Anthony, an 18-year-old charged with first-degree murder relating to a deadly incident in 2025. Prosecutors state that Anthony fatally stabbed Frisco Memorial High School student Austin Metcalf, 17, during a track meet at Kuykendall Stadium following a verbal dispute.
