Amber Alert Issued for 4-Year-Old Girl Abducted by Father in Los Angeles

Los Angeles, California — Authorities have activated a multi-county Amber Alert for a 4-year-old girl who was allegedly abducted by her father following the murder of the child’s mother.

Daleza Fregoso was last seen around 4 a.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2026, near Alsace Avenue and Ferndale Street in the Arlington Heights/Crenshaw area of Los Angeles. She is believed to be with her father, 40-year-old Ruben Fregoso.

According to the California Highway Patrol (CHP), which issued the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department, Daleza was abducted by Ruben Fregoso. The pair were initially believed to be traveling in a white 2019 Land Rover Discovery with California license plate 9DAW715. The vehicle has since been located, but both remain missing.
