OHIO — A relative of the 16 children discovered living in squalid conditions in an Ohio home described as a “house of horrors” says the family is now facing death threats amid the shocking case.

The children, reportedly in an “almost feral” state, were found in a rundown house cluttered with debris, including a red wagon visible through a broken window. The exterior showed signs of neglect, with yellow caution tape surrounding the property.

Four adults — an elderly man and woman, along with a younger woman and man — have been identified in connection with the case through mugshots. Authorities removed the children from the home after the horrific living conditions came to light.

The relative spoke out about the intense public backlash, noting that the family has received death threats as details of the children’s living situation spread. The case has sparked widespread outrage and calls for justice.
