Mechanicville, New York — Six people, including four children, were discovered dead inside a home in an upstate New York apartment complex late Tuesday evening.

Police in Saratoga County responded to a welfare check request on Harris Avenue around 6:20 p.m. after neighbors reported not seeing a resident for several days. Upon entering the home, officers made the tragic discovery.
