Bring Parker Home

As the mother of an autistic child who has wandered away before, I cannot stop thinking about Parker and his family. Calgary was my hometown for many years, and it remains very close to where I live today. This story feels deeply personal.

Eleven-year-old Parker has been missing since July 16. Calgary Police are asking residents, especially those in Thorncliffe and the surrounding communities, to carefully check and recheck every possible place on their property.

Please look inside garages, sheds, vehicles, RVs, and other enclosed spaces. Check under decks, behind fences and hedges, around yard debris, and anywhere a child may have sought shelter. Realtors, landlords, and property managers are also being asked to ensure vacant properties are thoroughly searched.

Please don’t assume a place is too small, too unlikely, or has already been checked. A single careful search could make all the difference.

If you see Parker, do not approach him, as he may become frightened. Give him space, keep him in sight if it is safe to do so, and call 911 immediately.

Anyone with information, or with security camera or dashcam footage that may be relevant, is urged to contact the Calgary Police Service at 403-266-1234.
